We love brownies at my house. We love everything about them...gathering as a family in the kitchen to bake together, the conversations between mixing of ingredients and the purr of the blender, little fingers taste-testing the sweet batter, the licking of utensils, the aroma of the brownies baking, then sitting around the table and commenting on what fantastic bakers we truly are. You can share in our family’s love of brownies with this FAVAO-approved Chocolate Brownie recipe using the newly released XANGO FAVAO Chocolate Protein Powder.
So whether it is for a sweet weekend treat or a weekly snack, enjoy creating your own brownie memories with a brand new recipe you can add to your FAVAO collection.
CHOCOLATE BROWNIE (WOMEN AND MEN)
- ¼-cup black beans (rinsed)
- 1 whole egg
- 1 egg white
- 1 TB unsweetened applesauce
- 2 TB whole-grain pancake mix
- ½-scoop XANGO FAVAO Chocolate Protein
- 1.5 TB plain cocoa powder
- ½-tsp vanilla extract
- ½-tsp baking powder
- XANGO FAVAO Stevia to taste
Blend all ingredients together in small blender. Taste batter and add additional stevia if needed. (You will want to add plenty as it will taste less sweet once it is baked.) Pour batter into small pan, like a small baking loaf pan or small cheesecake springform pan. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes. Makes one serving. TIP: You can add a FAVAO topping if desired (those calories not added in). Calories 243 - Carbohydrates 25 - Fats 8 - Protein 23 WHERE TO USE? Power or Energy Snack OR it is also great as a weekend treat to replace any meal when you feel like you need a little sweet fix!

How much cocoa should I add in if I am using the Vegtable protein powder?

I promise I won't eat a whole batch with ice cream, but how about a family size version.

I'm so glad you wrote this recipe for 1 serving!!! LOL!
When you say to add lots of stevia, how much did you use?
I use the Sweet Leaf Stevia packets. How many should I use?
Thanks!

Made this tonight.. I used the mini loaf pan. It made two full little loaves. My little ones smelled it and could hardly wait so I shared with them. They liked them and want me to make some more tomorrow. I made a little "frosting" for mine. They ate theirs too fast to get "frosting". My daughter sent me the chocolate pb2 today.. it has 1 gram of fat, and 45 calories.. I mixed it with a little water and some stevia.. yummy.. felt a little guilty eating these brownies.. I ate a half a serving and the full serving of my "frosting" and am happy! Thank you for the recipe! Thank you for favao!
